Strata Identity Introduces No-Code Software Recipes for Application Modernization
Pre-built solutions enable customers to migrate from legacy identity systems to more secure and flexible cloud identity providers without rewriting applications
BOULDER, Colo., March 15, 2023 — Strata Identity, the Identity Orchestration company, today announced the availability of its application modernization Orchestration Recipes that enable organizations to migrate from any legacy identity system to any cloud identity provider (IDP) without rewriting any code using the Maverics multi-cloud Identity Orchestration platform. The recipes support moving off outdated IDPs to more secure and flexible cloud identity systems like Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, AWS Cognito, and more…
The Cyber Hut Comment: The cloud identity orchestration vendor Strata have released an interesting “recipe” approach that aims to help organisations migrate away from existing legacy (typically on-prem and different to extend).
Strata have a platform called Maverics which they leverage to help “glue together” the ever growing set of components needed to deliver distributed and highly adaptable identity services across cloud, on-prem and legacy infrastructures.
Their recipes provide a set of existing workflows that can accelerate migrations, technology adoptions and integrations to features such as passwordless of cloud IDP.
Clearly in the ever growing world of the large enterprise technology space, more and more integration touch points for identity are being found. However, existing identity provider technologies are not often moved away from - “if it aint broke don’t fix it” style approach - resulting in older technology staying in place, as newer models are introduced - resulting in ever more technology sprawl.
Strata are aiming to accelerate the adoption of newer models it seems, by reducing the cost and complexity of those integrations. Concepts such as low/no-code will appeal to many.
